A Few Critters for the Dark Age Table

Here's just a few of the animals I've painted for my Dark Age table, either as "set dressing" or scenario stuff. The sheep and Highland Cattle are from Gripping Beast, the wee badger is from Warbases - all for 28mm:

Cheers,

John.

  3. I recently got a delivery from Warbases of livestock (Cows, sheep, geese) for my own Dark Ages table to spruce it up a bit. Doubt I'll paint them up as nicely as you've done yours though, those are lovely mate.

  8. It's not often you see the Saxon War Badger represented in this scale. Scourge of Viking raiders!

Seriously though, lovely work. They'd make great objectives in a raid, or unusual 'blinds' for hidden movement (was that a horde of bloodthirsty warriors or an foraging badger I heard?).
